FEDERAL ROADS (SARAWAK) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 3) ORDER 2025

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Sarawak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Sarawak) (Amendment)

(No. 3) Order 2025.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 18 July 2025.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (Sarawak) Order 1996 [P.U. (A) 551/1991], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of PAN BORNEO HIGHWAY, by inserting after item (ju) the following item:

“(jv)

(Route 1): Sungai Awik Bridge-Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Paoh

Starting at coordinates N 1.778582, E 111.372797 and ending at coordinates N 2.010640, E 111.464801 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP OF SUNGAI AWIK
