FEDERAL ROADS (SABAH) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Sabah, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Sabah) (Amendment)

(No. 2) Order 2025.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 31 October 2025.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (Sabah) Order 1996 [P.U. (A) 366/1996], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule by inserting after item (j) the following items:

(Route 1): Tawau-Semporna Road

Starting at coordinates N 4.398709, E 118.159266 and ending at coordinates N 4.425724, E 118.183222 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 5:

TAWAU-SEMPORNA ROAD.

A distance of 5.053 kilometres.

(Route 1): Kinabatangan-Sandakan Road

Starting at coordinates N 5.643293, E 117.828885 and ending at coordinates N 5.755267, E 117.753988 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 6:
