JUDGES’ REMUNERATION (AMENDMENT OF FIRST AND FIFTH SCHEDULES)

REGULATIONS 2025

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Judges’ Remuneration Act 1971

[Act 45], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, after consultation with the Chief Justice, makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration

(Amendment of First and Fifth Schedules) Regulations 2025.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2026.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Judges’ Remuneration Act 1971, which is referred to as the “principal Act”

in these Regulations, is amended by substituting for the First Schedule the following schedule:

Amendment of Fifth Schedule 3.
