(2)
Where any cheque issued or other mode of payment made in respect of a licence fee is subsequently dishonoured, the licence shall be void as from the date when it was granted, and the Director General or a Director, as the case may be, shall send to the person to whom the licence was issued, by a registered letter addressed to him to the address given by him, a notice requiring him to deliver up the licence to the Director General or Director, as the case may be, within a period of seven days from the date on which the notice was posted, and if that person fails to comply with such notice within that period he shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
