Inspection certificates required for certain motor vehicles

Section 66A
(1)
No person shall use or cause or permit to be used a motor vehicle belonging to the class or category of motor vehicles required to undergo periodic inspection under this Part unless there is in force an inspection certificate issued under this Part in respect of the motor vehicle.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine of not less than three hundred ringgit and not more than five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
