Section 43
(1)
No person, other than an archives officer, shall take or send out of Sabah any archives except –
(a)
with the prior written consent of the Director; and
(b)
in accordance with such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
