Section 37D
(1)
An authorized officer shall have the power to investigate the commission of an offence against this Enactment or any regulations made under this Enactment.
(2)
An authorized officer may, in relation to an investigation in respect of an offence committed against this Enactment or any regulations made under this Enactment,

exercise all or any of the powers in relation to police investigation, except the power to arrest without warrant, given under the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
