Section 11
Delegation of powers, functions and duties
of Sarawak Biodiversity Centre Ordinance, 1997

The Council may, subject to such conditions or restrictions as it thinks fit, delegate to any committee referred to in section 10(1) or the chairman thereof or any officer of the Council all or any of the powers, functions and duties vested in the Council by this Ordinance, (other than the power to delegate conferred by this section) and any power, function or duty so delegated may be exercised or performed by that committee or the chairman thereof or the officer in the name and on behalf of the Council.

The Council may continue to exercise any power conferred upon it, or perform any function or duty under this Ordinance, notwithstanding the delegation of that power, function or duty under this section.
