Section 7
Appointment of officers and employees
of Sarawak Biodiversity Centre Ordinance, 1997

(1)
The Council may from time to time appoint and employ a Chief Executive Officer and such other officers and

employees as may be necessary to assist the Council in carrying out its functions and duties and may, subject to terms and conditions determined by the Council under subsection (3), dismiss them:
Provided that the approval of the Minister shall be obtained in respect of the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer of the
Council.
(2)
All officers and employees of the Council shall be under the administrative control of the Chief Executive Officer.
(3)
The Council may, with the approval of the Minister, make standing orders to provide for the terms and conditions of service, including loans and allowances and the conduct and discipline of officers and employees of the Council.
