Section 52

(1)
Except for the purpose of this Ordinance or of any criminal proceeding under this Ordinance, no Ombudsman, officer, authorized officer, investigating officer, employee, any committee, agent, advisor, or consultant acting on behalf of the Ombudsman shall disclose any information which has been obtained by him in the course of his duties and which has not been published in pursuant to this
Ordinance.
(2)
Any person contravening the provision of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or, to both.
