Power to establish corporations
of Sarawak Rubber Industry Board Ordinance, 2022

(1)
The Board may, with the approval of the Minister, establish, or expand or promote the establishment or expansion of corporations, by such names as the Board thinks fit, under the
Companies Act 2016 [Act 777]—
(a)
to perform any of its functions or carry out or in exercise any of its powers; and
(b)
to carry out and have the charge, conduct and management of any activity which has been planned or undertaken by the Board in the performance of its functions or the discharge of its duties.
(2)
The corporation or other body established by the Board under this section shall be managed in accordance with such regulations and directions as may, from time to time, be made by the Board.
