Section 12

(1)

The

Organization may appoint such number of self-employment social security agents subject to such terms and conditions to collect and receive payment of contributions on behalf of the Organization.

(2)

The self-employment social security agents appointed under subsection (1) shall, as soon as practicable, inform the Organization of the actual time and date of the payment of the contributions made by the self-employed insured person.

(3)

Any self-employment social security agent who contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
