Existing solid waste management facilities
of Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007
(1)
Any solid waste management facilities approved under any written law before the appointed date shall be deemed to have been approved under section 10.
(2)
The Director General may, at any time if he is satisfied that the approved solid waste management facility does not conform to current requirements regarding environmental impact, quality and level of solid waste management services or public health, serve upon the owner or occupier of such facility a notice in writing of his intention to require him to apply for a fresh approval under section 11.
