Section 78
(1)
The Director General may, in writing authorize any officer appointed under section 5, officer of any local authority or officer of the Corporation to exercise the powers of enforcement under this Act.
(2)
Any such officer shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code [Act 574].
(3)
In exercising any of the powers of enforcement under this
Act, an authorized officer shall on demand produce to the person against whom he is acting the authority issued to him by the
Director General.
(4)
The Director General shall have all the powers, functions and duties of an authorized officer.
