General amendment
of Standards of Malaysia (Amendment) Act 2012
The principal Act is amended—
(a)
in the national language text—
(i)
by substituting for the word “pemerakuan” wherever appearing the word “pensijilan”;
(ii)
by substituting for the word “penentuan” wherever appearing the word “standard”;
(iii)
by substituting for the words “penentuan standard”
wherever appearing the words “Standard
Malaysia”;
(iv)
by substituting for the words “penilaian ketepatan”
wherever appearing the words “penilaian pematuhan”;
and
(v)
by substituting for the words “tanda ketepatan”
wherever appearing the words “tanda pematuhan”;
and
(b)
in the English language text—
(i)
by substituting for the words “specification” and
“specifications” wherever appearing the words
“standard” and “standards”, respectively; and
(ii)
by substituting for the words “standard specification”
and “standard specifications” wherever appearing the words “Malaysian Standard” and “Malaysian
Standards”, respectively.
