A person who, immediately before the commencement of this Act, is—
the Commissioner of Buildings; or
Commissioner
“Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Buildings appointed under subsection 4(1), and includes any Deputy Commissioner and other officers appointed under subsection 4(1) to exercise the powers or perform the duties imposed on the Commissioner;
an officer appointed under subsection 3(1) of the repealed
Act, shall continue to hold such office as if he were appointed under subsection 4(1) of this Act.
