Section 53
(1)
Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who iscompelled to do it by threats, which at the time of doing it reasonablycaused the apprehension that instant death to the person will otherwisebe the consequence.
(2)
The exception under subsection (1) shall not apply if theperson doing the act placed himself, of his own accord, in thesituation by which he became subject to such constraint.
