Section 23

of Syariah Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 2001

Section 23

No person who has been arrested by a Religious

Enforcement Officer or police officer under this Ordinance shall be released except on his own bond or on bail or under the order in writing of a Judge or Chief Religious Enforcement Officer or of a police officer not below the rank of Inspector.
