Section 35

(1)

In this Part—

"vehicle" means any propelled or not;

vehicle whether mechanically

"radiocommunication" means any telecommunication by means of Hertzian waves;

"Hertzian waves" means electromagnetic waves between 10 Kc/s and 3,000,000 Mc/s;

"radiocommunication apparatus" means any apparatus or any component part thereof capable of being used or being adapted for the transmission or reception of Hertzian waves;

"local vessel" means any ship registered in a port of Malaysia, or any vessel licensed to be used in the tidal waters of Malaysia, or any unlicensed vessel habitually kept in Malaysia or the territorial waters thereof;

"local aircraft" means any aircraft registered in Malaysia.

Subject to regulations made under section 40, nothing in this Part shall prevent any person from making or using electrical apparatus for actuating machinery or for any purpose other than the transmission or reception of messages or other communications whatsoever.
