Section 42
(1)
When an applicant for a licence proves to the satisfaction of the Minister that the sole object of obtaining the licence is to enable him to conduct experiments in radiocommunication, a licence for that purpose may be granted in accordance with the regulations made under section 40 and may not be subject to any rent or royalty.
(2)
The expression "rent or royalty" in subsection (1) does not include fees charged in respect of the grant or renewal of licences.
