PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 29O Akta Lembaga Pelabuhan 1963 [Akta 488], Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor, dengan kelulusan Menteri, membuat undang-undang kecil yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Seksyen 1

(1)

Undang-undang kecil ini bolehlah dinamakan Undang-Undang Kecil

Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor (Tanjung Pelepas) (Pemaliman) (Pindaan) 2019.

(2)

Undang-Undang Kecil ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 November 2019.

Undang-Undang Kecil ini, dipinda dalam perenggan 1(1) dengan menggantikan perkataan “Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor (Tanjung Pelepas)” dengan perkataan

“Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor (Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas)”.

Penggantian undang-undang kecil 2

dengan undang-undang kecil yang berikut:

“Pemakaian

Seksyen 2

Undang-Undang Kecil ini hendaklah terpakai di dalam Daerah Pemaliman

Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas.”.

Seksyen 4

Undang-undang kecil 3 Undang-Undang Kecil ibu dipinda —

(a)

dengan menggantikan takrif “Lembaga” dengan takrif yang berikut:

‘ “Lembaga” ertinya Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor dan termasuk pekerja dan ejennya;’; dan

(b)

dengan menggantikan takrif “pelabuhan” dengan takrif yang berikut:

‘ “Pelabuhan” ertinya Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas di dalam had kawasan yang diisytiharkan di bawah seksyen 6 Ordinan Perkapalan

Saudagar 1952 [Ord. 70/52];’.

PORT AUTHORITIES ACT 1963

JOHORE PORT AUTHORITY (TANJUNG PELEPAS) (PILOTAGE) (AMENDMENT)

BY-LAWS 2019

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 29O of the Port Authorities Act 1963 [Act 488], the Johor Port Authority, with the approval of the Minister, makes the following by-laws: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These by-laws may be cited as the Johore Port Authority

(Tanjung Pelepas) (Pilotage) (Amendment) By-Laws 2019.

These By-laws come into operation on 1 November 2019

Amendment of by-law 1 2.

The Johore Port Authority (Tanjung Pelepas) (Pilotage) By-Laws 2000

[P.U. (A) 466/2000], which are referred to as the “principal By-laws” in these By-laws, are amended in paragraph 1(1) by substituting for the words “Johore Port Authority

(Tanjung Pelepas)” the words “Johor Port Authority (Tanjung Pelepas Port)”.

Substitution of by-law 2 3.

The principal By-Laws are amended by substituting for by-law 2 the following by-law:

“Application

Seksyen 2

These By-laws shall apply within the Pilotage District of the

Tanjung Pelepas Port.”.

Amendment of by-law 3 4.

By-law 3 of the principle By-laws is amended —

(a)

by substituting for the definition of “Authority” the following definition:

‘ “Authority” means the Johor Port Authority and includes its employees and agents;’; and

(b)

by substituting for the definition of “port” the following definition:

‘ “Port” means the Tanjung Pelepas Port within the limits declared under section 6 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 [Ord. 70/52];’.

Amendment of by-law 8 5.

By-law 8 of the principal By-laws is amended by substituting for the word “port”

wherever appearing the word “Port”.
