Section 52
Powers of delegation
of Universities and University Colleges Act 1971
Where by the provisions of this Constitution or any Statute, Rules or
Regulation any officer or authority is empowered to exercise any power or perform any duty, such officer or authority may by instrument in writing subject to the provisions of this section and to such conditions and restrictions as may be prescribed in such instrument, delegate the exercise of such powers or the performance of such duties to any authority or to any committee or to any person described therein by name or office.
(2)
A delegation under this section may be revoked at any time by the officer or authority making such delegation.
(3)
No delegation of any power or duty under this section shall affect the exercise of such power or the performance of such duty by the officer or authority making such delegation.
(4)
Nothing in this section shall apply to any power to make or approve
Statutes, Rules or Regulations.
