Section 49
(1)
Notwithstanding section 48, it shall be lawful for not less than ten students of the University with the prior approval of the Vice-Chancellor and subject to such terms and conditions as the Vice-Chancellor may specify, to establish a student body consisting of students of the University for the promotion of a specific object or interest within the University.
(2)
Subsections 48(3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (11), (12) and (13) shall apply mutatis mutandis to a student body established under this section as they apply to the SRC.
