Section 42C

of Wild Life Protection Ordinance, 1998

Section 42C

Any wild animal or part thereof—

(a)

which is shot, killed, captured or taken pursuant to section 41, 42 or 42A or in contravention of the provisions of this

Ordinance; or

(b)

whose unclaimed carcass is found in any State land or

State land forest or on any other land, may be sold or otherwise disposed of or kept in captivity in such manner and under such terms and conditions as the Controller of Wild

Life or Chief Wild Life Officer may direct.
