Section 51

(1)

Zakat due and payable may be recoverable by the Majlis in a civil proceedings in the Syariah Court as a debt to the Majlis.

(2)

The Secretary and every authorised officer shall be deemed to be public servants duly authorised by the Majlis respecting all proceedings under this section.
