- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 12 Akta Akta 31. Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya 1957, Yang di-Pertuan Agong membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut:

Jadual kepada Akta Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya 1957 adalah dipinda dengan menggantikan perenggan 12 dengan perenggan yang berikut:

Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Election Commission Act 1957, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following regulations: Citation.
Seksyen 1
These regulations may be cited as the Election Commission (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 1998.
Seksyen 2
The Schedule to the Election Commission Act 1957 is amended by substituting for paragraph 12 the following paragraph:
"12. MONTHLY ENTERTAINMENT ALLOWANCE:
Chairman RM1306
Deputy Chairman RM 654
Members RM 429".
