Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 15 Akta Penyemakan Undang-Undang 1968 [Akta 1], Pesuruhjaya Penyemak Undang-Undang membuat perintah yang berikut:

Seksyen 1

Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

(1)

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Penyemakan Undang-Undang

(Pembetulan Akta Juruukur Bahan 1967) 2001.

(2)

Perintah ini hendaklah disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 18 Mac 1992.

Pembetulan 2.

Akta Juruukur Bahan 1967 [Akta 487] dibetulkan dalam teks bahasa Inggeris—

(a)

dalam subseksyen 1(3), dengan menggantikan perkataan “(Omitted).”

dengan perkataan “The Minister may by notification in the Gazette suspend the operation of this Act in any part of the Federation.”; dan

(b)

dalam “LIST OF AMENDMENTS MADE BY THE COMMISSIONER

OF LAW REVISION UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE REVISION OF

LAWS ACT 1968 (ACT 1)”, dengan menggantikan perkataan

“1. Subsections (2) and (3) omitted” di bawah tajuk “Particulars of

Amendment” dengan perkataan “1. Subsection (2) omitted”.

REVISION OF LAWS (RECTIFICATION OF QUANTITY

SURVEYORS ACT 1967) ORDER 2001

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968 [Act 1], the Commissioner of Law Revision makes the following order: Citation and commencement

Seksyen 1

(1)

This order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Rectification of

Quantity Surveyors Act 1967) Order 2001.

(2)

This Order shall be deemed to have come into operation on 18 March 1992.

Seksyen 2

Rectification

The Quantity Surveyors Act 1967 [Act 487] is rectified in the English language text—

(a)

in subsection 1(3), by substituting for the word “(Omitted).” the words

“The Minister may by notification in the Gazette suspend the operation of this Act in any part of the Federation.”; and

(b)

in the “LIST OF AMENDMENTS MADE BY THE COMMISSIONER

OF LAW REVISION UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE REVISION OF

LAWS ACT 1968 (ACT 1)”, by substituting for the words “1. Subsections

(2)

and (3) omitted” under the heading “Particulars of Amendment”

the words “1. Subsection (2) omitted”.
