Power to take samples
of Agriculture Fertilizer Enactment 2025
An authorized officer may demand, select, take or obtain samples of any fertilizer, fertilizer supplement or raw materials to make fertilizer for the purposes of analysis without payment from any person manufacturing, importing, exporting, selling, utilizing or having possession of such fertilizer, fertilizer supplement or raw materials to make fertilizer, or his or its agent or employee from whom the fertilizer, fertilizer supplement or raw materials to make fertilizer is obtained.

The samples demanded, selected, taken or obtained under subsection
(1)
shall be accepted in any court.
(3)
Any person who refuses to comply with any demand made by an authorized officer under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
