Section 100

(1)

Where—

(a)

any higher education provider fails to cause a copy of the certificate to be exhibited in accordance with this

Act;

(b)

any higher education provider has ceased to provide programmes fails to surrender the certificate to the

Agency in accordance with this Act; or

(c)

any higher education provider, upon the revocation of a certificate, fails to surrender the certificate to the Agency in accordance with this Act, such higher education provider commits an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

(2)

Any person who is in possession of any false certificate commits an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not less than twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not less than one year but not exceeding three years or to both.
