44. Provisional accreditation of skills training programme or skills training qualification

In the case of provisional accreditation of a local or foreign skills training programme or skills training qualification, the
accreditation
“accreditation” means a recognition granted by the Agency after examining and assessing— (a) a higher education programme or qualification; or (b) a higher education provider under Chapter 4 or 7 of
Agency shall cooperate and coordinate with the Department of

“Agency” means the Malaysian Qualifications Agency established under section 4;
Skills Development for the purpose of—
considering an application under subsection 38(1) and granting or refusing to grant the application under section 39;
conducting an institutional audit under subsection 39(3);
imposing conditions under section 41; and
revocation of the certificate of provisional accreditation under section 42.

“certificate” means the certificate of provisional accreditation, the certificate of accreditation, certificate of self-accreditation or the certificate of equivalence, as the case may be;
