46. Power to grant or refuse accreditation

After having considered an application under subsection 45(1), the Agency may—
Agency
“Agency” means the Malaysian Qualifications Agency established under section 4;
grant the application and issue a certificate of accreditation to the higher education provider upon payment of the prescribed fees; or
refuse the application, stating the grounds for refusal.
Upon issuance of the certificate of accreditation under paragraph (1)(a), the Agency shall enter the particulars of the certificate into the Register.

“certificate” means the certificate of provisional accreditation, the certificate of accreditation, certificate of self-accreditation or the certificate of equivalence, as the case may be;
For the purpose of considering an application under subsection 45(1), the Agency may conduct an institutional audit.
Terms defined in this Act
accreditation
