Section 13
(1)
The amount of compensation, if any, payable under section 9 or 10 shall be assessed by the Collector of Land Revenue after such enquiry as he shall deem sufficient:
"Registrar" has the meaning assigned to it by the National Land Code.
Provided further that no compensation shall be payable by the licensee in respect of any tree within fifty feet of the centre line of any road constructed or maintained by State Government or by any local authority unless it is proved that the tree was in existence prior to the construction of the road.

Any person aggrieved with the Collector's assessment may appeal to the State Authority whose decision shall be final.
