Section 27

The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 29

the following section:

“Information on children in need of care and protection 29a.  If any person, other than the persons referred to in sections 27, 28 and 29, has reason to believe that a child is physically or emotionally injured as a result of being ill-treated, neglected, abandoned or exposed, or is sexually abused, he may give such information to a Social Welfare

Officer.”.
