Section 21
The principal Act is amended by substituting for section 34
the following section:
“Power of Director General to require security

Section 34
(1)
The Director General may require any person to give security or further security of such amount and in such manner as the Director General may determine for the payment of any customs duty which is or may become due and payable from the person.
(2)
Where any security has been required to be given under subsection (1), no person shall move goods under customs control unless such security has been given.”.
