Section 26

Subsection 44(3) of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words “shall be liable on conviction before a Magistrate of the First Class to a fine of two thousand ringgit and to imprisonment for a term of twelve months” the words “shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both”.
