Section 51
(1)

Any railway company which fails to give notice of an accident as is required by section 45 shall pay to the

Government a sum of one hundred ringgit for every day during which the default continues.

(2)

Any railway official in charge of a station who omits to give such notice of an accident as is required by section 45 shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to both.
