(a)
subject to the provisions of subsection 256(2), refuses to give to an authorized officer any information relating to an offence under this Act or its subsidiary legislation;
or
(b)
knowingly gives false information, commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
