Section 20
Employment of other officers and servants
of National Kenaf and Tobacco Board Act 2009
Subject to any regulations made under subsection (4), the
Board may employ such number of other officers and servants including Classifiers as the Board thinks desirable and on such terms and conditions as the Board considers appropriate.
(2)
The Director General shall have general control of the officers and servants of the Board.
(3)
No person shall be eligible for employment as an officer or servant of the Board if he has, directly or indirectly, by himself or his partner, any share or interest in any contract or proposed contract with, for or on behalf of the Board.
(4)
The Board may, with the approval of the Minister, make regulations with respect to the conditions of service of its officers and servants.
(5)
The Board may adopt with such modifications as it deems fit any regulations, rules, policies, circulars and directives enacted or issued by the Federal Government in relation to any matter under this Part.
