Section 17
(1)
The Minister may appoint a Director General for the purposes of this Act and for the efficient conduct of the affairs of the
Board.
(2)
The terms and conditions of appointment of the Director
General shall be determined by the Minister.
(3)
If the Director General is temporarily absent from Malaysia or is temporarily incapacitated through illness or for any other reason from the performance of his duties, the Board may direct any other

officer to perform the duties of the Director General during his temporary absence or incapacity.
