Negligent conduct
(a)
when employed in or about a mine or exploration site does any act in such manner as to be likely to cause danger or damage to any person in or about such mine or exploration site or fails to take such precautions as may be necessary to ensure the safety of any person in or about such place; or

(b)
unless properly authorized in that behalf removes alters or renders ineffective any thing in or about a mine or exploration site provided for the safety, health or well-being of any person, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
