Section 18
(1)
It shall be the duty of a registered medical practitioner, including a government medical officer, to notify the Director
General of any person who is treated by him for drug dependency in accordance with rules made under this Act.
(2)
Any person who contravenes the provisions of this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding* two thousand ringgit.
