Savings
(a)
powers;
(b)
rights;
(c)
privileges;
(d)
duties;
(e)
liabilities; and
(f)
obligations, under section 18 of the Perbadanan Pembangunan Bandar Act 1971
which immediately before the commencement of this Act were those of the Perbadanan shall, on the commencement of this Act—
(aa) devolve on the Government; and
(bb) be exercised in accordance with any written law for the time being in force relating to—
(aaa) town and country planning; and
(bbb) tax, rent, rates or other charges with respect to property.

(2)
Any—
(a)
planning permission, approval for development, or approval of a building plan granted in respect of any land; and
(b)
instrument or document issued, by the Perbadanan by virtue of its power under section 18 of the repealed Act, shall continue to have force and effect and shall be deemed to have been granted or issued by the Government by virtue of the operation of subsection (1) until the same is amended, modified, revoked or cancelled by the Government.
