Amendment of section 56
(a)
in subsection (3)—
(i)
by substituting for the word “two” the word
“fifty”; and
(ii)
by inserting after the words “further fine of” the words “not exceeding”; and
(b)
by inserting after subsection (3) the following subsection:
“(3a) Where any person has been convicted of an offence under subsection (3), the court before which he was convicted may order the person to make any payment due to the workman by virtue of an order made under section 30.”.
