Restriction on further use and disclosure of shared data

Section 18
(1)
Any officer or servant of a data recipient shall not use or disclose the shared data under this Act other than for the purpose for which the data is shared.
(2)
Any officer or servant of a data recipient who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, upon conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one million ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
