Effect of deletion
of Police (Amendment) Act 2012
On the coming into operation of this Act, all matters relating to a licence for convening or collecting any assembly or forming any procession under section 27 pending before the
Officer in Charge of a Police District or Commissioner or Chief
Police Officer shall not be proceeded with; and all licences issued for any assembly and procession to be convened, collected or formed before the date of coming into operation of this Act shall cease to have effect.
(2)
Any civil or criminal action pursuant to section 27, 27a or 27b of the principal Act which is pending before the date of coming into operation of this Act shall not be affected by this
Act and shall continue as if this Act had not been enacted.
