When election deemed to be election

Section 51
(2)
If no nominations are made for the election of members of the Bar
Council the other members of the Bar Council shall appoint as members of the Council twelve persons qualified to be candidates under this Act.
(3)
Members of the Council appointed under subsections (1) and (2)
shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to be elected members.
