Section 33
A person who hinders or attempts to hinder any person from giving evidence before the Commission or by threats, deters or attempts to deter any person from giving such evidence
Independent Police Conduct Commission 25
commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.

A person who threatens, insults or injures any person for having given evidence, or on account of the evidence which the person has given before the Commission commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
