Secretary to the Commission
of Judicial Appointments Commission Act 2009
There shall be appointed a Secretary to the Commission by the Prime Minister from amongst members of the general public service of the Federation for such period and on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the instrument of appointment.
(2)
The Secretary shall be responsible for—
(a)
the general conduct, administration and management of the functions and activities of the Commission; and
(b)
the carrying out of the decisions of the Commission.
(3)
The Secretary shall perform such further duties as the
Commission may from time to time direct.
(4)
In discharging his duties the Secretary shall act under the general authority and direction of the Commission.
