An authorized officer conducting a search under section 39
authorized officer
“authorized officer” means any public officer, officer of the Authority or officer of the Commission authorized in writing by the Minister under section 36;
or 40 shall be given access to computerized data whether stored in a computer or otherwise.
For the purposes of this section, “access”—
includes being provided with the necessary password, encryption code, decryption code, software or hardware and any other means required to enable comprehension of computerized data; and
has the meaning assigned to it by subsections 2(2) and (5)
of the Computer Crimes Act 1997 [Act 563].
