Section 12
Section 13 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
by renumbering the existing section as subsection (1);
(b)
in subsection (1), by substituting for the words
“a veterinary authority” the words “an enforcement officer”; and
(c)
by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection:
“(2) The destruction and disinfection under subsection (1) shall be conducted without undue delay and in accordance with the procedures prescribed under MAQIS Act.”.
